Jodie – Recruitment Partner (Senior Admin, HR & Finance)
Jodie went to school in Burford and has lived and worked in West Oxfordshire all of her life. Jodie has spent the last 16 years working in recruitment in Witney and the wider Oxfordshire area. During this time, Jodie has come to know the local market inside out and has built and managed successful recruitment teams covering the Office & Professional, Industrial & Technical and IT sectors. Her strong network is testament to her success, which she attributes to her personable yet professional approach. Jodie also works with local schools and colleges as a Careers Mentor and Enterprise Advisor.
Maxine – Senior Consultant (Admin, Customer Service and Sales)
Maxine is an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant with 6 years recruitment industry experience in Oxfordshire recruiting into the Office & Professional and Technical sectors. Maxine is currently specialising in recruiting Customer Service, Sales / Business Development, and Administration roles. She describes herself as enthusiastic and highly organised, which are essential attributes when working in the fast paced recruitment market. Maxine enjoys building strong relationships with her clients and her friendly and honest approach is well received by everyone she works with.
Andy – Recruitment Partner – (IT & Engineering)
Andy has over 20 years experience in the recruitment industry, predominantly recruiting for Engineering and IT roles across the Oxfordshire and Thames Valley region. Andy is a Certified DiSC trainer who is keen to ensure that the people he works with are closely matched in terms of both technical and interpersonal skills. He’s recently spent 2 years managing a small web design and digital marketing agency before returning to the industry. Similar to Chris and Jodie, Andy also works with local schools and colleges as a Careers Mentor and Enterprise Advisor.
Chris – Recruitment Partner (Marketing, Supply Chain & Manufacturing)
Chris has worked in the recruitment industry for over two decades recruiting a mix of Professional, Technical and Creative roles across the country. Highly service orientated, Chris’s work has won industry awards for innovation and client service. After working extensively with Key Accounts, Chris worked across the business improvement and implementation functions, and was part of the Senior Leadership Team for the Office and Professional and Industrial divisions at his previous company. Like Jodie, Chris also works with local schools and colleges as a Careers Mentor and Enterprise Advisor.
Laura – Recruitment Consultant (Insurance, & Financial Services)
Laura has worked in the Financial Services sector for several years. Prior to joining The Burford Recruitment Company in 2021, Laura spent two years working as an Internal Recruitment Specialist for a group of Insurance companies with offices located across the UK. Laura relocated to the Cotswolds from ‘the North’ in 2020 and describes herself as an outgoing, confident, and hardworking individual that loves providing a quality service, ensuring that her clients are fully satisfied and happy. Laura is tenacious and determined, making her the ideal consultant in a candidate short market.
Holly – Recruitment Administrator (IT, & Technical)
Holly is the newest member of our team (joining in January 2022). Holly attended school in Burford prior to studying Architecture at university in London. Holly’s technical knowledge, creative ability and strong organisational skills make her the ideal administrator for the IT & Technical division. She is bright and communicative, and will be a great support to our technical candidates and clients.
