Housekeeper / Private Household
Live-in Housekeeper Duration: Permanent Hours: Full Time Live-in
- Role: Live-in Housekeeper
- Location: Near Charlbury, Oxfordshire
- Start: Flexible for the right candidate
- Salary: up to £55,000 gross per annum (DOE)
- Days/hours: Monday to Friday, roughly 40 hours per week
- Accommodation: 1-bedroom accommodation available
- Other: Driver essential and DBS
A warm and welcoming family based in Oxfordshire are seeking a family orientated and highly organised Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis.
The successful candidate will take genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully run home, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy becoming an integral part of family life. This is a predominantly housekeeping-focused role with occasional childcare support required when an extra pair of hands is needed.
Duties to include:
• Daily cleaning, tidying and presentation of all rooms and living spaces
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing throughout the property
• Deep cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas on a rotational basis
• Laundry management including washing, drying, ironing, folding and wardrobe organisation
• Changing beds and managing linen
• Care and maintenance of household furnishings, fixtures and finishes
• Seasonal deep cleaning and household organisation projects
• Monitoring and replenishing household supplies
• Receiving deliveries and ensuring items are stored appropriately
• Running occasional household errands
• Providing occasional childcare support when required
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the householdCandidate requirements:
• Previous experience working within a private household
• Excellent housekeeping skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude with a willingness to muck in where needed
