£30,000 – £35,000 + c£12,000 uncapped OTE

The Burford Recruitment Company are working with a cloud based software company who are looking to recruit a Pre Sales Consultant. In this role, you will support the business revenue targets by delivering technical consultancy and pre sales activities. You will transfer industry, technical and product knowledge to clients and prospects via product demonstrations and through presentations, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
As a Pre Sales Consultant, you will:
- Develop solutions and organise, plan, create and deliver compelling proof of concept demonstrations
- Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure successful closure of the sales process
- Ensure open and honest communication and collaboration with each prospect throughout the sales cycle
- Ensure the prospect has a detailed understanding of the proposed solution to be delivered, incorporating software, services, delivery and support
- Adopt a tailored sales approach for each prospect, aligning and meeting expectations
- Liaise with Product Owners to provide feedback from clients about product requirements
- Assist Sales Team with the preparation and submission of bid structure documents
- Increase your own product knowledge to understand product functionality and enhancements
- Remain up to date with market trends, product and competitor landscapes
- Exhibition and event attendance as a representative of the company
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Organised and efficient with an attention to detail
- Able to meet deadlines whilst managing a range of concurrent activities
- Ability to lead technical discussions
- Adept at working with multiple stakeholders, from mid market to enterprise level
- Ability to work on own initiative and to be a good team player
- Strong problem solving and prioritisation skills
- Corporate and consultative selling
- Knowledge of the SaaS software industry
- Competency in MS Office and Google applications
Experience
- Pre sales software experience
- Prior hands on experience with APIs, AWS or Azure
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Experience in scoping Proof of Concepts and responding to functional and technical elements
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
A full, clean driving licence is essential as travel may be required from time to time.
