The Burford Recruitment Company are excited to be working with a well-established and high-quality lifestyle brand located in Didcot, who are seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their busy tea

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing a first-class customer experience via telephone, email, live chat and social media.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders, concerns, and complaints in line with company SLAs
• Ensure to meet SLA target for email response, resolution and customer satisfaction rating
• Taking orders over the phone on behalf of customers and accurately entering information onto the database
• Sharing of product knowledge in order to upsell
• Logging customer service enquiries and reporting to the business within agreed timeframes
• Managing the customer database
• Support the international team with sample requests
• Making realistic customer commitments and follow through each transaction to full completion – keeping the customers and other internal departments informed at all times

Skills and attributes required

• Customer service experience either in a call centre or retail environment
• Excellent communication skills – spoken and written
• Able to use initiative to prioritise and solve enquiries
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work towards targets
• Strong organisation skills
• IT literate
• Strong team player

Additional information

• £23,000 – £25,000 pa
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Hybrid working available, 3 days in the office and 2 remote
